DON’T EAT QUICKLY.

Thorough mastication means good digestion

DON’T DRINK DURING MEALS.

This encourages inactivity of the salivary gland. It is better to drink before meals rather than after. Dry feeding is best of all.

DON’T EAT WHITE BREAD.

This has been deprived of its nutriment. Wholemeal bread is better in many other ways.

DON’T EAT TOO MUCH.

This is a common fault and leads to endless trouble.

DON’T BREATHE THROUGH THE MOUTH.

“And He breathed into the nostrils the breath of life” points clearly to the fact that our nostrils were created for breathing.

DON’T SHUT YOUR BEDROOM WINDOW

at night even in the coldest weather. Fresh air is your good friend, and impure air your deadly enemy.

DON’T FORGET TO DON WARMER APPAREL

when going out in cold weather. Your rooms are warm, and the outer air cool, and extra clothing is needed to balance temperatures.

DON’T WORRY OVER TRIFLES.

This is the cause of most of the nerve trouble in the world. Generally, a happy mind means healthy body.

DON’T NEGLECT DAILY EXERCISE

in the open air. This is one of the best aids to health.

DON’T BROOD

over your small ailments. Encourage cheerful thought, and many of your troubles will melt away.

DON’T INDULGE IN EXCESS.

Excess of any kind means injury to health.

DON’T SHUT OUT THE SUNSHINE.

This is one of the greatest blessings to health.

DON’T LET THE PORES GET CLOGGED.

Free perspiration means the systematic elimination of waste tissue.
